Judges, GCs Speak of the Golden Rule at DBA Day of Civility

On April 20th, the Dallas Bar Association observed a "Day of Civility in the Law" with the intent to encourage attorneys to reaffirm the Texas Lawyer's Creed saying lawyers should always conduct themselves with the utmost courtesy and professionalism toward judges, adversaries, colleagues and everyone in the legal profession.

DBA President Michael K. Hurst said April 20 is not the permanent date for Day of Civility in Texas in the hopes that it will expand to a weeklong observance, then a month - and even become a period observed nationwide.
