A Legacy of Winning: Two Careers. One Standard.

Recognizing the careers of two LPHS partners defined by influence, judgment, and excellence, the induction of The Hon. Barbara M. G. Lynn (ret.) into the Lawdragon Leading Lawyers Hall of Fame class of 2026 marks a rare occurrence for the list, which has honored the profession’s elite since 2015. Judge Lynn joins her husband and firm founder Mike Lynn as an honoree; only the third time, according to the publication’s editor, that a married couple has each earned the distinction.

Since its inception, Lawdragon has recognized leading lawyers who have “dedicated their careers to the legal profession, each in his or her own way, to find a way forward to a better future.” Judge Lynn is among just 102 attorneys honored nationwide this year, and one of only 25 in Texas.

Judge Lynn joined LPHS in September 2025 after more than 25 years of service on the federal bench. During her tenure she served as both Chief Judge and Senior Judge for U.S. Courts for the Northern District of Texas and presided over some of the most controversial and important trials in the region, with written opinions that have shaped national precedent. She now brings that perspective to a firm founded by her husband, Mike Lynn, who has secured more than a billion dollars in jury verdicts for his clients and defeated more than a billion dollars in claims at trial.
