LPHS Pursing Texas Supreme Court Hearing on Attorney Immunity

LPHS is representing Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, along with a current and former firm attorney, in a potentially precedent-setting attorney immunity case before the Texas Supreme Court.

"This case presents an important issue to ensure that attorneys practicing in Texas can represent their clients without fear of suit from non-clients,"

said the firm’s Eric Pinker  in a Law360 interview

"The Supreme Court has addressed attorney immunity multiple times in the past decade. Taking this case will meaningfully solidify and implement the attorney immunity doctrine in Texas."

The case is In re: Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Barrett Howell and Ryan Meyer, case number 26-0152, in the Supreme Court of Texas.
