The State Bar of Texas presented the Dallas Bar Association with some of its most notable awards for the programming and community outreach led by 2018 Dallas Bar President and LPCH Partner, Michael Hurst. Amongst these awards, the State Bar recognized 3 articles on mental health, one of which was written by Hurst.

Additionally, the American Bar Association selected the Dallas Bar as the recipient of the E. Smythe Gambrell Award for Professionalism for its Statewide Day of Civility program also presented in 2018.
