David Coale on the Texas Appellate Court's Convoluted System

LPCH partner, David Coale, appears in Law360's article concerning the Texas Appellate Court system.

The state's Appellate Courts are split into 14 individual sections causing uneven workload, which increases the complexity of the system. Several arguments about revamping or rearranging the entire system continue to arise.

Coale comments, "Whatever harm there may be is outweighed by the transition problems of trying to move to some other system."
