LPHS secured a “take-nothing” defense win against a high-stakes $150 million lawsuit in New York state court brought by entities affiliated with Goldman Sachs and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. After nearly six years of contentious litigation the court ruled in favor of the firm’s client on all counts. 

The case centered on claims of misrepresentation in the construction of a key natural gas infrastructure project in Pennsylvania. The LPHS team successfully demonstrated that the client’s statements and project reports were accurate and in full compliance with the terms of the agreement.
