Shane Simms
Shane Simms joined LPHS after working in the complex commercial litigation department in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He is a native Texan, originally from the small rural town of Canadian, Texas located in the northeast Texas Panhandle. After enduring extraordinarily hot summers and very cold winters building fences, working cattle, and doing general ranch management while growing up, Shane decided he would shoot for an inside job next.
After high school, Shane moved to Dallas, Texas and originally pursued a career in information technology before earning his bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University. Here, he graduated summa cum laude with a double major in philosophy and psychology. Shane went on to attend law school at the University of Chicago School of Law where an article of his, discussing the rights of individuals to adorn religious garb and symbols in the workplace under E.U. and International Law, was published in the Chicago Journal of International Law.
Shane is the proud father of three wonderful children, and he enjoys outdoor family outings with his partner Megan. He also is an avid vocalist and musician with years of past experience performing in local rock bands. Today, he spends much of his free time recording and songwriting in his home studio.
