LPHS Serves: “Food From the Bar”

LPHS attorneys recently participated in the North Texas Food Bank’s “Food From the Bar” campaign, a friendly competition between local law firms to provide food for hungry children and families in the region during the summer months. Based on the charitable and volunteer contributions of Firm attorneys and staff, thousands of meals were provided to those in need.  In addition to collecting food donations in the Dallas office, firm volunteers including staff members Kay Ridenour and Gina Flores and attorneys  Jared Eisenberg,  Melissa Lopez, and  Carter Plotkin spent an afternoon assembling boxes of food for children at the Food Bank’s Plano location.

In Dallas County, it’s estimated there are more than two million people unable to access nutritious food regularly. If you're interested in learning more about this important community issue, you can find additional information here.
