LPHS Secures Win for Company in Unfair Competition Case

An LPHS trial team that included Mary Goodrich Nix, Michael Hurst, Sara Chelette, David Coale, Gloria Jones-Walker, and paralegal Beverly Congdon won a jury verdict of more than $2 million in district court in Tarrant County on behalf of the nation's leading residential and commercial glass company. The jury found three former employees, as well as corporate co-conspirators, engaged in a coordinated scheme to misappropriate confidential information from the company, unlawfully solicit employees, and wrongfully take control of longstanding customer relationships. Amanda Alexander, who led the discovery work leading up to trial, was an integral member of the LPHS team.
