Gloria Jones-Walker
Gloria Jones-Walker is an Associate at LPHS, where she focuses on complex civil litigation. She brings extensive experience in legal research, drafting, and trial preparation.
Gloria most recently served as a Judicial Clerk for U.S. District Judge Timothy L. Brooks in the Western District of Arkansas in Fayetteville for two years, where she assisted with both the civil and criminal docket, drafted opinions and orders, prepared bench memos, and supported trial proceedings. She has also taught as a part-time adjunct at the University of Arkansas School of Law, instructing upper-level writing focused on federal appellate litigation.
Previously, Gloria gained experience in litigation and public interest law through internships with the Department of Justice, Civil Division, Federal Programs Branch, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She has also worked with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid and other Texas nonprofits, providing direct client services and conducting legal research on civil rights, reproductive healthcare, and environmental justice matters.
Gloria earned her J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where she was Order of the Coif. While in law school, she served as Chief Notes Editor of the Texas Law Review and as a member of the Supreme Court Clinic, in which she assisted in researching and drafting petitions for certiorari and merits briefs in cases before the United States Supreme Court. She holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science and Anthropology from Texas Christian University.
Outside of work, Gloria enjoys yoga, jogging, classical dance, and musical theater.
