Amanda Alexander

Amanda Lee joined LPHS as an Associate in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a litigation associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where she gained experience preparing clients for deposition and trial, drafting motions, defending depositions, analyzing contracts and settlement agreements, and assisting in bankruptcy investigations. Notably, during her time with the firm, Amanda drafted opening and closing arguments on a pro bono team that successfully represented a woman seeking asylum in the United States.

In 2018, Amanda graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Texas, earning a B.A. in Journalism. She then went on to attend Texas A&M University School of Law where she graduated in the top 3% of her class. While there, she combined her love for writing and the law by serving as the Executive Editor of the Texas A&M Law Review.

Amanda also served as an intern for many different judges in courts across Texas. During this time, she became adept at researching bankruptcy case law, assisting in drafting opinions, preparing pre-argument memoranda, reviewing trial records, and researching niche legal issues.

Amanda currently lives in Plano with her husband, Gino, a Dallas firefighter. They enjoy powerlifting, trying new restaurants, and spending entirely too much time at thrift stores.
