LPHS Team Secures Major Win in Breach of Contract Case

Congratulations to LPHS Partner Greg Brassfield and Associate Yaman Desai in securing a unanimous jury verdict on behalf of Lanza 360 LLC, a group formed by former special forces operators to provide global crisis response services to travelers. Following a week-long trial in the 457th District Court in Montgomery County, Texas, the jury found that Texas-based GEOS Worldwide, Ltd., a company known for its tracking and monitoring services, breached a marketing agreement with Lanza 360 and awarded the company $1.1 million plus attorneys’ fees and costs. The jury also found that GEOS misrepresented the nature of its customer base and awarded Lanza an additional $500,000 in exemplary damages.
