Lynn Pinker Hurst & Schwegmann is pleased to announce the addition of Julia A. Simon as a partner.

Most recently, Ms. Simon has served as the chief legal officer and corporate secretary for Mary Kay Inc., a globally renowned manufacturer and distributor of consumer goods. Under her leadership, she was responsible for the company's legal, risk management, governance, compliance, public affairs, corporate communications, and corporate social responsibility functions. She also served as the company's Chief Privacy Officer.

"As I approach this next chapter of my legal career, I am excited to return to private practice," said Ms. Simon. "Having worked alongside a number of attorneys with the firm, I know the work, the clients and the culture will be a tremendous fit for my goals and expertise."

Ms. Simon holds a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law.
