LPHS Attorneys Mark Historic First in New Business Court System

In one of the first substantive hearing before the state’s newly formed Business Court, LPHS attorneys recently represented a prominent private equity concern as defendants in a dispute involving a sale of assets and breach of fiduciary duty claims. The court is expected to render an opinion on the merits of the arguments within the next several weeks, providing guidance as to if or how the case may proceed. The client, one of the world's largest alternative asset managers, was represented at the hearing by Chris Schwegmann, Chris Patton, Yaman Desai, and Kyle Gardner.
