Favorable Settlement Obtained in Favor of Contractor in Pipeline Construction Dispute

Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst is proud to have obtained a favorable settlement for its client, Driver Pipeline Company, Inc., in a pipeline construction dispute weeks before arbitration was set to begin. Driver built a gas pipeline for a large midstream company in South Texas during the wettest year on record in Texas. A dispute arose between the parties as to the payment of significant construction costs incurred due to conditions encountered during the project. Driver was seeking to recover those costs in the arbitration.

“We are pleased to have helped our client obtain what it bargained for in its contract” explained LPCH partner, Alan Dabdoub. Alan Dabdoub, Britta Stanton and Russ Herman of LPCH and co-counsel David Surratt of Canterbury, Gooch, and Surratt represented Driver.
