LPCH partner, David Coale, recently sat on a business litigation panel during the Dallas Bar Association's monthly meeting along with Chrysta Castaneda, former Texas Supreme Court Justice Craig Enoch, and Justice David Schenck of the Dallas Court of Appeals.

The panel discussed the recent Texas Supreme Court case of Orca v. JP Morgan Chase, and its use of an underappreciated rule - Tex. R. Civ. P. 166g - to resolve a dispositive question of law at a pretrial conference.
