Eric Pinker Defeats $4.7M Contingency Fee Suit

A Texas judge on Tuesday dismissed Fee Smith Sharp & Vitullo LLP’s claim that another Texas firm, Block Garden, interfered with and slowed its payout from a $7 million 2017 verdict against JPMorgan Chase & Co.

During the argument in Dallas County District Court on Tuesday morning, Block Garden, represented by Eric Pinker of Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst LLP, said:

“This is a lawsuit that should not have been brought.” Pinker said Fee Smith’s continued court battles with his clients in a malpractice suit that stemmed from the JPMorgan case was responsible for stalling the payout.
