Firm Announces New Partner: Christopher J. Schwegmann
The nationally recognized trial firm Lynn Tillotson Pinker & Cox, LLP would like to congratulate Christopher J. Schwegmann for elevation to Partner.
Lynn Tillotson Pinker & Cox, LLP, the 15-year-old litigation boutique has been recognized twice by The National Law Journal for the "Defense Win of the Year.” Since its inception, the firm has recovered more than $300 million for clients and defeated at trial claims of more than $800 million.
Mr. Schwegmann joined the firm in 2005. Prior to joining Lynn Tillotson Pinker & Cox, LLP, Mr. Schwegmann practiced commercial litigation in the New York office of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.
He has been twice named a "Rising Star” in business litigation by Texas Monthly in 2007 and 2008. Mr. Schwegmann graduated cum laude from the New York University School of Law in 2001, and summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University in 1997. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joe Kendall and to the Honorable Sam. A. Lindsay, both of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Mr. Schwegmann practices business litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property issues. He has successfully represented clients in significant disputes involving claims of trade secret misappropriation, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, and other business torts involving intellectual property. He also has broad experience representing clients in complex commercial litigation, including class actions. He has represented clients in both state and federal court, as well as parties on appeal in the Texas appellate courts and as in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
