Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst is proud to announce that it recently secured a crucial win on appeal for its client Mannatech, Inc. In argument before the Federal Circuit, LPCH successfully defended the trial court’s judgment of infringement against Wellness Quest, LLC and Harley Reginald McDaniel on two of Mannatech’s patents securing its proprietary dietary supplements. LPCH had previously obtained injunctive relief from the district court barring Wellness Quest from making, using, or selling its infringing products. By staving off Wellness Quest and McDaniel’s challenge on appeal, LPCH preserved the trial court’s ruling and helped to ensure that Mannatech’s technology remains protected. Firm partner Eric Pinker argued for Mannatech, and was assisted by Mark Turk and Jared Eisenberg. The trial court proceeding is styled Mannatech, Inc. v. Wellness Quest, LLC et al. (No. 3:14-cv-2497).
