Hurst and Desai Present on Trade Secret Litigation at DBA Event

The firm’s Michael K. Hurst and Yaman Desai examined the rapidly evolving framework of state and federal laws governing trade secret protections at a Continuing Legal Education forum sponsored by the Dallas Bar Association. Presented for the DBA’s Solo and Small Firm Section, the LPHS team provided guidance on how to evaluate if any allegedly infringed information is actually a trade secret, if that information was adequately protected, how courts have interpreted “use” of the information, and how these standards may be affected by the proposed federal ban on noncompete provisions.
