The firm’s David Coale conducted an interview with KLIF Radio in Dallas on two hot-button issues under consideration by the federal courts. First, David discussed the issues surrounding consideration of medication abortions by U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk in Amarillo. “It's clearly motivated by Roe having been overruled but the legal issue here really is separate from abortion. It's a question of administrative law, the law of government agencies. It's whether the FDA has dotted all the I's and crossed all the T’s that’s required of an agency in making its decisions.”

David also spoke about the upcoming U. S. Supreme Court hearing on the legality of student loan debt forgiveness. “The other courts are sort of split on the question so the Supreme Court will sort out whether that law in fact gives the administration the authority that it claims. So again, the question is one of a legal basis as opposed to the actual issue that most people think about in terms of whether or not people should be forced to pay back their loans.”
