The US Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has had a ripple effect, with the Texas Supreme Court ruling that the state can enforce a state law banning the practice that dates to 1925. Taken together, the two rulings are forcing abortion providers to move their services to other states. LPHS appellate and constitutional law attorney David Coale addresses the issues that have surfaced from the rulings.
