Dallas Morning News Interviews David Coale on Whether Constitution Needs an Update

Former President Trump was acquitted by the U.S. Senate in his second impeachment trial. During this process, many questions about the Constitution developed concerning whether it needs tweaking. LPHS appellate partner David Coale in the Dallas Morning News article “Donald Trump has raised constitutional questions that could be difficult to resolve” says the Constitution is vague on specific issues for a reason.

“The Constitution is quite stable,” Coale said. “Having the broad outlines has served us really well.”
