Cowan, Desai Named as LPHS Partners
LPHS is pleased to announce that Clint Cowan and Yaman Desai have been elected as partners in the firm. “These are two extremely talented young attorneys who prove themselves to clients, coworkers and opposing counsel on a daily basis,” says LPHS Managing Partner Chris Schwegmann. “In addition to being skilled litigators they understand each client’s business objectives and foster solid relationships with those they work for and work with, and we couldn’t be happier for them.”
Clint maintains a diverse trial and appellate practice serving some of the nation’s largest energy, pharmaceutical, consumer products, and retail businesses in state and federal courts and arbitrations. He has extensive experience in energy contract disputes, with a focus on midstream commercial issues, as well as the representation of clients in mass tort litigation and multiple MDLs. Clint earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2016 and undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina.
Yaman joined the firm in 2019 after practicing at an international law firm upon receiving his law degree in 2016 from The University of Texas School of Law. He has represented a diverse set of clients in commercial litigation matters, including playing critical roles in antitrust, shareholder, and fiduciary disputes in both state and federal court. Yaman was a member of the team that secured a favorable ruling for the firm’s client in the first contested final judgment under the new Texas Business Court system. He earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas.
