Gloria C. Cangé
Gloria C. Cangé joined LPHS as an Associate in 2024 and represents clients in a broad-based litigation practice in various industries, including oil and gas, commercial real estate, and educational services. In the past year, Gloria has undertaken breach of contract litigation, commercial leasing disputes, employment arbitration, wrongful death suits, and antitrust litigation. In a recent pro bono matter, Gloria also helped secure a $258,140 jury verdict for a Fort Worth family in a long-running dispute with their landlord.
Gloria graduated with her B.S. in Legal Studies from St. John's University in Queens, New York, and went on to receive her J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2022. While at Northwestern Law, Gloria served as the Co-President of OUTLaw, interned at the Children and Family Justice Center through the Bluhm Legal Clinic, and acted as a Research Assistant.
Prior to joining LPHS, Gloria practiced commercial litigation at White & Case LLP in Chicago, where she supported significant trial wins in high-stakes cases involving international clients, and co-authored client alerts on major legal developments.
Gloria has a strong commitment to pro bono work and advocated as a Guardian ad Litem in the Cook County Court system while in Chicago. Her dedication to community service is further evidenced by her year with AmeriCorps NCCC, where she logged over 1700 hours of community service rebuilding homes in Corpus Christi, TX after Hurricane Harvey and leading summer camps for the children of the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah, OK. Reflecting her growing leadership within the Dallas legal community, Gloria was named the One to Watch in March 2025 by the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and a Director of the J.L.Turner Legal Association for the 2025 year.
Gloria is conversationally fluent in French and can eke out some passible Haitian Creole. On the weekends you can find her perusing the farmer's market with her dog Boba.
