Texas Panel OKs Neiman Marcus' Investor Defamation Suit

A Texas appellate court greenlighted Neiman Marcus to pursue defamation and business disparagement claims alleging that Marble Ridge Capital launched a smear campaign to manipulate the price of the luxury fashion retailer's debt. Mike Lynn of Lynn Pinker Hurst & Schwegmann, representing Neiman Marcus, told Law360 on Thursday he is very pleased with the appellate court's decision.

"This is a fantastic result for Neimans and the decision is an incredible piece of scholarship," he said.
