Hurst has been elected to the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an elite association of the nation’s leading judges and civil trial lawyers. ABOTA membership is by invitation only, based on such factors as personal character, honorable reputation and a high degree of success at trial. ABOTA has more than 7,300 lawyer and judge members with chapters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Michael’s extensive courtroom experience includes high-profile claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, fraud, and theft of trade secrets across a wide range of industries. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization as well as the National Board of Trial Advocacy, distinctions reserved for attorneys with the highest commitment to excellence and expertise. 

Michael will be formally inducted as an ABOTA member at the Dallas Judicial Dinner on November 18.
