LPHS Defends Family-Owned Travel Company in Airline Dispute

LPHS is currently defending the Plano, TX-based ticket consolidator GTT in a lawsuit brought by American Airlines, which accuses the family-owned company of a range of contractual violations and wrongful conduct. GTT is represented by the firm’s Michael K. Hurst and Andres Correa.

In a recent article posted on Skift, an online travel publication, Mr. Hurst fired back against the allegations. “American seems to be blaming the industry’s operational deficiencies on its business partners and others,” he stated. “GTT values the company’s decades-long relationship with American and regrets the rush to litigate and hopes to amicably and productively work together to resolve any issues.”

GTT is one of several companies the aviation titan has targeted with similar litigation in the past few months.
