Victory Against $145 Million Claim in Eagle Ford Shale

Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst is proud to announce that it, and co-counsel Yetter Coleman and Roger Bellows of the Bellows Law Firm, obtained summary judgment in favor of their client, Energy Transfer, against several claims brought by Swift Energy. The victory came a few weeks before trial was set to begin. Swift alleged that an Energy Transfer disposal well damaged its existing wells and prevented Swift from drilling future wells on several leases in South Texas. Swift sought over $100 million dollars in alleged damages. LPCH Partner, Alan Dabdoub, explained,

“We are very pleased that the trial court reached the right result, and that our client can put this litigation behind it.”

The LPCH team included Alan Dabdoub and Kent Krabill.
