LPHS partner and lead appellate practice attorney David Coale recently spoke to KRIV-TV FOX 26 Houston about the Supreme Court of Texas blocking Harris County from sending mail-in applications to every registered voter in the county.

“What the Supreme Court told us here is the Legislature would have to go into the code where it lists the responsibilities, the duties of a county election clerk and add something that says you may proactively send material, offer information, so on and so forth.”
