In a live interview on Fox4’s “Good Day”, David Coale notes that while the Constitution provides for legislative and judicial checks-and-balances, the election results likely “grease the wheels” for sweeping actions by the Trump administration.

“We’re entering a pretty remarkable time with the Republican Party in charge of all three branches of government,” he says. “That allows them a lot more flexibility and aggressiveness in advancing their agenda.” 

In the interview, he also comments on the status of prosecutions against Mr. Trump, the process of certifying elections and the impact of the Dallas HERO amendments on city government.
