David Coale Weighs in on Constitutional Implications of TikTok Ban

The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a bill that would ban the popular video app TikTok nationwide if its China-based owner, Byte-Dance, doesn't sell its stake in the company. LPHS partner David Coale joined WBAP 820 Talk News to discuss the constitutionality of a ban.

"This is a company that is ultimately owned by a Chinese parent and there are features of Chinese law that allow their government a great deal of access into a private companies' business affairs, access that we would find unthinkable here in the U.S."
