A new Texas state law will allow individuals to carry firearms without a permit. LPHS appellate and constitutional law attorney David Coale discusses the new law and restrictions for those with misdemeanor and felony convictions with KXAN NBC Austin.

“Some more procedures are going to be needed — those are going to depend on where the person is located, what the state of the records are, and what else is going on in that person’s case besides the one particular conviction.”
