In an article for the Spring issue of Litigation, published by the American Bar Association, the firm’s Chris Patton examines the under-the-radar qualities that young litigators must adopt to survive and thrive in the profession. Two concepts stand out for Chris: taking ownership and developing resilience. Acknowledging that “being a trial lawyer is not easy, especially at first”, in the article he shares the sometimes painful but always enlightening experiences that he faced as a young attorney, and the lessons he now imparts to the firm’s associates.
