Ted Ibargüen
A. Edward (“Ted”) Ibargüen joined LPHS as an Associate in 2024. Ted represents clients in a broad-based litigation practice encompassing a wide range of complex civil litigation and investigations, including matters in antitrust, business disputes, corporate governance, environmental, intellectual property, securities, and reorganization.
Ted graduated with his B.A. from Trinity College and went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania (Carey) Law School in 2020. While at the University of Pennsylvania, he was a member of the Moot Court Board, participated in Mock Trial, and was involved with a pro bono organization called the Military Assistance Project, which provides legal aid to veterans. Ted was also an associate editor for the Journal of Business Law and received a Certificate in Management from The Wharton School.
Prior to joining LPHS, Ted worked in the civil litigation, antitrust, and white collar defense & investigations practice groups at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York, representing global financial institutions and high-profile clients in the media, transportation, fashion, sports, pharmaceutical and energy industries. In addition, Ted clerked for The Honorable Anthony J. Scirica of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, interned for The Honorable Gene E.K. Pratter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and externed for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Ted is a former Uber and Pizza Hut delivery driver who enjoys traveling and cooking. He also loves to fish and golf with his wife Kelly, a former TCU golf team captain who Ted met on day one of law school orientation.
