Sayo Ayeomoni

Sayo Ayeomoni is an Associate at LPHS, representing clients in general business and complex commercial disputes across state and federal courts. She brings hands-on trial preparation experience, sharp analytical skills, and a record of achieving favorable outcomes for her clients through strategic advocacy.

Before joining the firm, Sayo practiced at Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP in Kansas City, where she litigated a broad range of products, premises, commercial, and general liability disputes. She gained significant experience across all stages of litigation, including early case assessment and negotiation, coordinating discovery, deposing witnesses, drafting and successfully arguing pre-trial motions, mediation and arbitration, and trial preparation. Beyond her everyday practice, Sayo also devoted a significant portion of her time to pro bono work, representing incarcerated individuals in Section 1983 claims and individuals seeking asylum.

Sayo graduated summa cum laude from Missouri State University with her B.S. in Political Science and Psychology, and went on to earn her J.D., cum laude, from William & Mary Law School. During her time at William & Mary, she competed on the National Trial Team where she was recognized with multiple advocacy awards and was admitted to the Order of Barristers.

Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Sayo is fluent in Yoruba and Nigerian Pidgin. Outside of work, Sayo is an avid fitness enthusiast who regularly participates in CrossFit competitions, Hyrox races, half marathons, and all sorts of endurance sports all over the globe. She hopes to one day complete an Ironman Triathlon.
