Braden Dotson
Braden Dotson maintains a wide-ranging commercial and business litigation practice, frequently representing clients in complex and high-stakes disputes. In addition to breach of contract, trade secret theft, and breach of noncompete cases, Braden has represented numerous clients in M&A post-closing disputes. Throughout his representations, Braden remains intensely focused on swiftly resolving cases in favor of his clients, whether in or outside of the courtroom.
Braden joined LPHS as an Associate in 2023, coming from the Dallas office of DLA Piper LLP. Before that, Braden earned his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law, where he graduated ninth in his class. While at SMU, Braden served as the Managing Editor of The International Lawyer — an official publication of the American Bar Association’s International Law Section, which is read by practitioners in more than 90 countries, and which holds the distinction of being the most widely distributed international law journal published in the U.S.
Outside of his career, Braden enjoys music and is an experienced guitarist and singer. In undergrad, he studied opera, singing arias and art songs in English, French, German, and Italian. Braden is a devoted husband and loving father to one beautiful daughter.
