Katie Rastegar

Katie Rastegar joined Lynn Pinker Hurst & Schwegmann in 2021 as a Staff Attorney with a keen eye for detail and a strong drive to push for her client's success. She focuses on reviewing litigation and investigatory documents for relevance, attorney-client privilege, work product, and confidentiality. Additionally, she strives to provide concise legal analysis to highlight significant issues and deliver quality assurance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Her past accomplishments as a Document Attorney and Title Attorney illustrate her meticulous execution on all projects that land on her desk—whether they focus on due diligence, managing company acquisitions, or contributing her eDiscovery skills to a potential data security incident case.

Katie’s drive shines through in her education: before earning her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2009, Katie graduated magna cum laude from SMU with a degree in Psychology. At Dedman, she was the Senior Articles Editor for the Science and Technology Law Review and was awarded Best Comment for her work published in 2010. She also served as a Student Attorney for children in Dallas County through the W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic.

Katie is licensed to practice in Texas, is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. In her free time, she likes to run on the neighborhood trail, volunteer at her children’s schools, and spend time with her husband, son, and daughter.
