New York Court Dismisses Financial Claims Against LPHS Client

The firm’s Jamie Drillette recently secured a New York state court ruling to dismiss legal claims against a client of the firm stemming from an alleged default on a loan agreement and personal guaranty. The plaintiff, described in court documents as a London-based solicitor, claimed the actions of the firm’s client caused a breach of contract with a third-party financier of the plaintiff’s business operations. The court found the plaintiff’s claims were “speculative and conclusory” and failed to present sufficient evidence to support those claims.
