LPHS Partner Michael K. Hurst was spotlighted in the June Edition of the Texas Bar Journal for his role as director on the District 6, Place 1 State Board. Hurst explains his involvement in volunteering and leadership since an early age, and his desire to make an impact.

Hurst explains, "my hope in becoming a state bar director is that I can further my advocacy for pro bono service, mental health awareness and acceptance in our profession, equality in gender and racial opportunities in our profession, preserving civil jury trials, and community enhancement and justice."
