As part of the publication’s “Best Lawyers in Dallas” issue, D Magazine published a profile of LPHS partner Judge Barbara M. G. Lynn (ret.), who joined the firm last year after more than 25 years on the federal bench. The article notes the series of “firsts” in her educational and professional endeavors, and the challenges she and other women attorneys faced in early in their careers.

“The idea that we, as a collective group, could not organize ourselves well to do all the jobs we undertook was sort of silly. But it didn’t have silly ramifications; it had profound ramifications.”

The article concludes with Judge Lynn outlining her current work at LPHS, where she is primarily working on major mediations and conducting mock trials with firm attorneys to gauge the effectiveness of their arguments in preparing for the courtroom.
