Chris Patton Joins SMU Dedman School of Law as Adjunct Professor of Antitrust Law
LPHS partner Chris Patton has joined the faculty of Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law as an adjunct professor, where he is teaching antitrust law.
With years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex business disputes, Chris brings a practical, real-world approach to the classroom. His course examines the foundational principles of antitrust law, its evolution over time, as well as its modern applications in enforcement and litigation.
Chris’s role as an adjunct professor underscores LPHS’s deep commitment to legal education and mentorship, ensuring that the next generation of lawyers is prepared to navigate complex business disputes in an evolving regulatory environment.
“Antitrust law is a constantly evolving field, with shifting enforcement priorities and increasing challenges from both government regulators and private parties. My goal is to help students develop a strong understanding of both the theoretical framework and the real-world issues that shape this area of law.”
