We not only successfully defended against the claim, but the jury awarded our client almost $15 million on a counterclaim.
• On behalf of a major telecommunications company, obtaining what we believe to be the nation's largest settlement in a theft of trade secrets case approximately three months into the jury trial of the case.
• Defending First USA Bank in a series of major, national news-making class action lawsuits, winning the cases at various stages in courts in Texas, Delaware, Oregon and Washington.
• Acquiring a $27 million settlement for Eljer Industries in its breach of contract claim against Household International arising out of the corporate spin off of Eljer.
• Defending Bank One against the FDIC in a series of claims valued at more than $100 million.
• Prevailing in two cases for First USA Bank, who hired us to handle two "bet the company" cases in Texas and Pennsylvania against nationally known plaintiff's lawyers.
• Defending Visa USA and Visa International in a case where the Plaintiffs sought over $670,000,000 for Internet defamation. The jury awarded them nothing.
