Joshua M. Sandler provided litigation tips and strategies for transactional, business, and corporate attorneys to the Dallas Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel Section on December 4, 2018. “A litigation attorney wears a different hat than that of the transactional attorney, who is often motivated to get the deal done,” said Sandler. “But when the deal goes south, a creative and effective litigation attorney utilizes every opening within the contract to the benefit of his or her client. This discussion is designed to provide tips within the contract drafting process which should help save the client time and money in the off chance that the deal sours in the future.”
