LPCH Welcomes Three New Partners

Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst, LLP is pleased to announce that Sam Hardy, Chris Patton, and Joshua Sandler have been named partners with the firm.

Sam Hardy is a creative and aggressive litigator with substantial federal, state, and arbitration trial experience. "Sam Hardy possesses all the skills of a top-notch trial lawyer: he is fearless with witnesses, articulate with judges and juries, and unusually quick on his feet. It's thus no surprise that he has already compiled an impressive list of victories for his clients," says Jeremy Fielding. Sam graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as Editor and Chief of the Alabama Law Review. He holds a master's degree from Harvard University, and a master's and a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina.

Chris Patton is known for his dedicated work on behalf of a diverse set of clients. He is experienced, determined, and creative. He is also a thought leader among Texas lawyers, having recently co-authored the book, Texas Trade Secrets Litigation. "Chris is a clever problem-solver, an effective courtroom advocate, and a gifted writer; and he has a track record to match," says Trey Cox. Chris graduated with honors from the George Washington University School of Law, and he obtained his B.A. from Brigham Young University.

Joshua Sandler is one of only 100 attorneys in the State of Texas recognized by Texas Super Lawyers as a Top 100 Up-and-Coming Rising Star. Josh is an experienced trial lawyer who consistently obtains outstanding results for clients. Dallas Bar Association President and LPCH Partner Michael Hurst says of Josh, "many lawyers have great skills writing, in the courtroom, developing clients, or leading in the bar or community. But Josh has demonstrated for years that he is the rare combination of all those talents. Josh is a star, and someone I always want on my side when going to battle, and someone I am proud to now call my Partner." Josh has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in complex business and employment litigation disputes. His clients range from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Josh is a zealous advocate and makes a positive impression on a jury. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and SMU Dedman School of Law, Josh has published numerous articles and is a frequent speaker on legal topics.
