Michael K. Hurst Receives DAYL Foundation’s "Award of Excellence"
LPCH partner Michael K. Hurst was recently awarded the "Award of Excellence" by the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL) Foundation. This award is given annually to a fellow of the DAYL Foundation who demonstrates a commitment to community service. Michael Hurst continually exceeds expectations inside and outside of the courtroom and always strives to better the community.
In January, Michael will become the 109th president of the Dallas Bar Association and plans to promote leadership and advocacy over the course of the year. During his term, Michael will focus on his new pro bono endowment, a women's leadership initiative, a state-wide day of civility and professionalism, a diversity summit, save the jury trial programming, and a second chair program for young lawyers to gain trial experience. There is no doubt that Michael's term will have a lasting impact on the Bar and the community.
