Lynn Tillotson Pinker & Cox, LLP Celebrates 20th Anniversary
After a heated discussion with his economics professor at the University of Virginia, Michael P. Lynn knew litigation was a challenge he wanted to pursue. Twenty years ago, Lynn accepted this challenge when he established Lynn Tillotson Pinker & Cox, LLP, and founded a firm "focused on building a commercial litigation firm comprised of talented lawyers who exhibit trial-tested experience, creativity, and an uncompromising will to win." This philosophy has led Lynn Tillotson Pinker & Cox, LLP, to successfully defend clients at trial against claims in excess of $1 billion, as well as recover over $300 million in judgments and settlements. LTPC regularly handles "bet the company” lawsuits in cases involving breach of contract, intellectual property and trade secret, class action, financial services, securities, breach of fiduciary duty, employment, as well as professional malpractice cases.
"It is the hard work and diligence of our attorneys that has allowed LTPC to become one of the elite trial boutique firms in the United States. As we celebrate our track record over the last 20 years, we also look forward to continuing to grow our firm and win in the courtroom” said Lynn.
To further celebrate the firm’s 20th anniversary, LTPC has created the Barefoot Sanders scholarship fund. The fund was established to assist outstanding high school seniors at the Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet who plan to continue their education in the legal field. Named partner Jeff Tillotson believes that, "more than ever, the legal industry must attract motivated, focused, and ethically-minded professionals. We launched this program to support outstanding young people who want to make public their lives' work”.
Today, Lynn Tillotson Pinker & Cox employs over 25 attorneys and has been named one of the top commercial litigation firms in Texas by Chambers & Partners. U.S News & World Report recently named LTPC as one of the "Best Law Firms” in 2013.
