Attorneys Speak on Jury Rules Book at TADC Winter Seminar
Trial Attorney Trey Cox of Lynn Tillotson Pinker Cox, LLP in Dallas is speaking at the Texas Association of Defense Council winter seminar February 7, 2013. He will join the Honorable James Stanton of Andrews Kurth LLP in Dallas to speak on "The Jury Rules: Post-Trial Videotaped Interviews With Real Jurors.”
Held Feb. 6-10 at the Sheraton Steamboat in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the TADC winter seminar will bring together Texas lawyers who devote a substantial amount of their professional time to handling litigated civil cases and whose representation in such cases is primarily other than of plaintiffs' personal injury cases.
"It's an honor to speak to my peers on a subject that I am passionate about,” Cox said. "Understanding how a jury works can make the difference between winning and losing a case. It's something every trial lawyer wants to better understand.”
Cox has authored numerous books including "The Jury Rules,” which he co-wrote with Texas Judge James Stanton. He has extensively analyzed and written about juries and is available for interviews and speaking engagements to address:
- Why jury trials are still needed;
- When and how to use jury trials;
- The effects of a rising generation of litigators instead of trial lawyers;
- How jurors think; and
- Rules attorneys should know when appearing before a jury.
