Britta Erin (Liukonen) Stanton practices civil commercial litigation. She has successfully tried several cases to jury verdict and has prevailed before multiple arbitration panels. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and has appeared in state and federal district courts across the country, including in Texas, Illinois, Colorado and Utah. She was named a Texas Rising Star in the 2005, 2007 and 2008 issues of Texas Monthly.

Ms. Stanton earned a B.S., with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999, spending one year studying language and economics at Sweden's Uppsala Universitet. In 2002, she earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Baylor Law School. While attending law school, Ms. Stanton served as an editor of the Baylor Law Review. She was also a member of the Order of the Barristers, and won the Strasburger & Price Moot Court Competition. Ms. Stanton was chosen as captain for the Texas Administrative Law moot court competition, where her team placed first. She was also a member of Baylor's interscholastic mock trial team. While in Waco, Ms. Stanton was a student member of the Abner V. McCall Inn of Court. Before joining the firm, she practiced with the trial firm Beck, Redden & Secrest in Houston.

Ms. Stanton is married to James Stanton, a trial attorney at Cozen O'Connor, and they have a daughter, Alexandra. In addition to spending time with her family, Ms. Stanton also devotes time to supporting the North Texas Make-A-Wish Foundation. She serves on the Foundation's Board of Directors, and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas. She and her husband are members of First United Methodist Church in downtown Dallas. Ms. Stanton is a member of the Park Cities Republican Women.
