Alan Dabdoub

 
 
Alan Dabdoub is an accomplished trial lawyer specializing in business litigation, including fiduciary duty litigation, trade secrets litigation, trademark infringement, and non-compete litigation.  Alan also specializes in employment and class action litigation. Alan brings the unique experience of having successfully tried many cases in private practice and having served as Chief Litigation Counsel for a large subsidiary of a Fortune 100 Company.

Alan has first chaired several jury and bench trials in multiple federal and state jurisdictions throughout the country, with many of those trials resulting in favorable verdicts for his clients.  He also has managed the defense of complex class actions with exposures of several hundred million dollars, with results ranging from summary judgment victories to decertification of the classes at issue.

Alan has successfully argued before numerous appellate courts, including the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the First, Second, Fourth and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeals for the State of Louisiana.  He also has writ experience before the United States Supreme Court and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Alan was recently elected into the Texas Bar Foundation, a testament to his outstanding professional achievements and to his demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system throughout the State of Texas.  During his in-house career, Alan also completed an Executive Development Program.  Alan received his B.A., cum laude, from Louisiana State University and his J.D. from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center.  He is admitted to the State Bars of Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee.

Alan frequently speaks throughout the country on trial advocacy and the dynamics of jury trials.  He is married to Michelle Ackal Dabdoub and they have a son (Grant) and a daughter (Ava).
